Better late than never, a couple of sky images while we were on our way to the Vancouver Giants game last Friday night. It rained for the rest of the weekend so these were the best there was.

Vancouver has been shrouded in fog for the past few days. It is eerie when you drive to work and see lights coming at you out of the thick fog. It is still pretty dark in the mornings and harder to get some good fog pics. I took my Pentax this morning and went down to Lonsdale Quay and tried to capture Vancouver coming out of the fog. Up at my place about 22 blocks above the Burrard Inlet, the skies were blue.
While down at the Quay, the fog lingered over the city.
If I had of stayed for a longer period of time, I would have seen the fog lift over the buildings as the sun can be seen trying to peek through the buildings.
A few minutes later, it brightened up considerably….while the Seabus travels across the Inlet to Vancouer
There were no even interesting skies this past weekend, pure gloom and doom, lots of rain without any signs of it ever stopping. Thankfully it did on Monday so I captured these couple of images with my iPhone during my breaks at work.
Beautiful sunny day here in North Vancouver, BC for the first day of the year. I think I post the first day of every year and very little after that. I like the thought of having a blog, updating it is something else. I will never promise to do so as I feel then it is like work and I won’t continue.
I would like to thank all of you who visited my blog over the past year. I am happy that you like the photos I have been putting up and I have gained a few new followers as well. I was always thrilled to see the likes in my Inbox.
I am not making any resolutions for the upcoming year as like blogging ever day, resolutions are made to be broken. I do however, want to take more photos with my Pentax K100 DSLR. It is handy to have my iPhone with me to be able to capture at that moment but I do want to expand my photography skills.

Granny Stripe Blanket:
This has been ongoing for about a year, I am going to finish it this year doing at the very least 3 colour stripes per week and I hope to do more.
Love how the sun reflects off the blinds and my knitting needles. Gorgeous morning here in Vancouver, have to get out and enjoy the day.
This was taken on March 19, 2012, for all intensive purposes it is supposed to be spring, well a few days short of the big day but come on, snow…..seriously. I am happy to report that it has stopped snowing, the sun has peaked out and of course it has rained. Typical Vancouver weather.
Found a pattern for this cute owl in my blog reader this morning. The tutorial can be found here.
I am going to make them into pins. The purple one was made exactly as tutorial indicated.
Sugar and Cream Cotton with a 5.00 mm hook.
This one was made with the same cotton yarn, I used a 4.00mm hook on this one.
I put safety eyes on both of them. I am really pleased at how they turned out
